PointsPrizes Review 2022 – Is This GPT a Legit or Scam Platform?

When coming to making money online with side gigs, it is like a double-edged sword. You can either earn some extra bucks on legit sites with your free time or waste both time and effort joining scams. So it is probably the reason you should read reviews on the websites you plan to register.

There are many GPT and paid survey sites, and finding the legit ones might be challenging. Nevertheless, we got you covered with the most popular sites like PrizeRebel, OfferNation, Rewards1 and many other legitimate sites.

However, we have stumbled upon PointsPrizes and think it deserves it for our research and testing. That’s why we made an effort to deep dive into the site and will uncover everything you need to know in the review before joining.

What is PointsPrizes?

Founded in 2016, PointsPrizes is a GPT site owned and operated by a French company, SAS PointsPrizes. Like other platforms, it will reward you for completing surveys and other online tasks. You can also download the mobile app and do online jobs. The app is available in Google Playstore and Apple Store.

How can you earn from PointsPrizes?

Paid Surveys

Paid surveys are still the most viable in GPT sites, and this is no difference in PointsPrizes. The platform has many earning opportunities offered by third-party survey routers, like Peanut Labs, CPX Research, YourSurveys, PollFish, Surveytime, etc.

However, the number of surveys depends mainly on the country you reside in, and we find out it is more favourable to this living in the USA.

Although there are many opportunities, we find that the rewards per survey are below the average rate you can find on our top GPT sites.

Paid Offers

PointsPrizes includes many offer walls where you can earn by downloading an app, joining a trial, watching videos or signing up. However, you must remember that some offers may need to input the credit card information, which will incur charges if you do not cancel it on time before the period ends.

Generous Referral Program

PointsPrizes has a generous referral program where you can earn a whopping 50% commission for your referrals' activities. For example, if your referral makes 2000 points, you will receive 1000 points. From our years of experience reviewing GPT sites, PointsPrizes offers the highest referral fee in the industry, similar to FeaturePoints.

Who can join?

There is no restriction on the geographical profile, meaning anyone can join the site regardless of their location. However, as mentioned previously, each country's earning opportunities will differ.

In addition, you might also be age 18 or above to be eligible to join the site.

How and When does I get paid?

PointsPrizes rewards its members with points for completing online tasks, and you can exchange them for various cashout options. The options include the most popular PayPal, Amazon gift card, Bitcoin, etc. However, you need to accumulate 3000 points to be eligible to get paid because the minimum payment threshold is $20, equivalent to 3000 points, meaning that 1 point is approximately $0.006.

Verdict

PROS

– The app is entirely free to download and join.

– It is available for both Android and iOS devices.

– The site is open to registration worldwide.

– Offer PayPal as one of the redemption methods

CONS

– It posed a security concern because this site makes it simple and convenient for users to log in without a password. But in contrast, anyone can just log in with your email address without you knowing it at all. This feature is a significant drawback because you might lose all your earnings if not careful.

– A high payout threshold of USD 20 makes it difficult to reach.

– The site offers a low pay rate for each completed survey, meaning that your time and effort might not be justifiable for your earnings.

In conclusion, I will not classify PointsPrizes as a scam site, but it raises a security concern with the no-password feature. Besides that, you also cannot find any contact information on the website and the Facebook page is outdated.

So if you want to earn money from GPT sites, why not join PrizeRebel and FreeCash instead?
